So now I’m confused, if the Dalai Lama is fine with armed self defense then why is this an issue? The Dalai Lama is the internationally known as the leader of the Buddhist faith and considered to be a pretty wise person. Like all religions Buddhist has different sects and organizations. Buddhism is commonly known to a religion/philosophy involving of peace and a lot of introspection. If the Dalai Lama finds armed self defense to be a reasonable reaction to the threat of “grievous bodily harm or death,” then I think that’s a huge win for the concealed carrier.
