Doug Bishopp is a school teacher, he has been a Technology Education teacher for 10 years at both the high school and middle school levels. NRA certified Instructor, Range Safety Officer, and an American Heart Association Instructor. His classes cover many areas such as safety, self-defense, situational awareness, defensive mindset, defensive pistolcraft, first aid, and CPR. Doug grew up in an ambulance corp. and became a Certified First Responder for the State of New York since he was 16. Doug spent 10 year in the Fire Department, 4 years in the Fire Explorers and 6 years on the line. During that time he was a member of the High Angle Rescue Team and Cold Water Rescue Team. Doug started New England Defensive Training LLC in 2011 to help people stay safe by providing education, information, and training accessible for everyone. Doug has been living the carry lifestyle since he was 18 in several different states.
